Company Overview
The Wilson Central School District is a small, rural community on the shore of Lake Ontario in Niagara County, New York. Wilson is known for its small boat harbor, good fishing, fruit tree farming and wineries. The school district is located approximately 30 miles north of Buffalo and 25 miles northeast of Niagara Falls. The District encompasses an area of 144 square miles including the Village of Wilson, Town of Wilson and portions of Ransomville, Newfane, Cambria, Lockport and Porter.
Wilson is a centralized public school system with a total student population of approximately 1,300. The system is composed of Wilson Elementary School, Wilson Middle School, and Wilson High School. The rich history of the surrounding community provides students with a great advantage. In close proximity to Niagara Falls, Old Fort Niagara, the Erie Canal, and the Underground Railroad, students are afforded opportunities that few other school districts can offer.
Located in the Village of Wilson, Wilson Elementary School provides UPK - grade 5 services to approximately 450 students. The elementary school is characterized by a friendly family atmosphere with skilled and dedicated teachers, hardworking students, and supportive parents.
